You-ness

I heard a guy at a party say that he was "a real man"

I told him that a 'real man' wouldn't have to say that they're a real man. It's kinda like bragging about your sex life, if you got it like that then you wouldn't have to brag about it. This guy also wore shades inside the party, called me siddity and harassed every woman in the place. And if you know one thing about me it's that I am not stuck up but I will choose to ignore those who are stupid.
(Or say some unmentionable things to you, lol.)

Really it all comes down to confidence in my opinion. Bragging comes from a lack of self-confidence and need for outside approval. I once worked with a teacher's aide who would say "Yeah I went to get the Lexus washed this weekend and I saw my cousin." Really sir??? You call your car by the make of it?? Maybe that's what's hot in the streets these days, maybe I'm the only one who isn't calling my car by it's make and model. #ImLate #DontKnowWhatsHotInTheStreets

I think that the older I've gotten, the more confident I've become and the less I care about what people may think of my life. My life is exactly what it is meant to be at this time. Now Lord knows I have my days when I feel unsure, especially when it comes to dating and relationships but confidence for me is a by-product of experience, and being authentic.
If you're being authentic that is simply your soul shining through.

And because I want everyone to get their life so hard, PLEASE check out this video of dancing park ranger John Griffith that I saw on AwesomelyLuvvie.com. It is e.ver.ry.thing. You're welcome...

Thank you for the vid link. I totally didn't see that coming!
& you are totally right. People who have to talk about their cars & other ppossessions to impress usually don't have much else going on.
