I think that I've mentioned before that I have a class of all fifth grade boys. Since the school year is winding down and testing is over, we are discussing manners and etiquette.
Earrings: Aldo
Top: Zara
Cargo pants: J.C. Penney
Wedges: Dolce Vita for Target
I gave them a pre-test to see how much they know.
One question was "When should you hold the door open for a woman?"

Answer choices were A. Never B. When she asks you to C. Always D. Only on dates when you pay
Most of them chose D.
I think I might have dated a couple of their dads....
Parents, please teach good manners to your children.
I am super excited and honored to be featured on Stylepantry's Over 30 Stylish Blogger Series!

I try to make sure my nephew knows how to treat a lady (because my brother seems to have no clue lol). That coral blouse is GORGEOUS on you!!
ReplyDeleteManners, are so important and i try to teach them to my son so that he knows how to treat a woman. I love your top! Gorgeous color on you:-)
ReplyDeleteThat top is everything! One of my boys will hold the door open for just about anyone but the other one....he wants you to open the door for him. He'll stand in front of door that not automatic so you can open the door. He's clearly his father's child:/ma
ReplyDeleteI was just talking about parenting with my best friend yesterday and manners came up! Some of these parents are reeally slacking out here. Kudos to the parents who are teaching they're kids what they need to know.
ReplyDeleteI love your blouse and those wedges!
Gonna go check out your features.
Hubby & I have agreed to beat manners into our son, if necessary, lol. Nothing gets my eyes to bugging more than an unruly child! Jesus be a fence around my son's behind if he forgets please, thank you and to hold the door for any woman. Hmph..

The outfit is darling as always!
ReplyDeleteAs far as manners, oh my dear, I don't know why they disappeared, but we ALL need them back. Manners helps build respect, and respect for others could solve a LOT of problems in our world!!
BTW, everyone should open doors for others who need it! A disabled person, an elderly person, a person carrying a baby, a child struggling with a heavy door, a man on crutches, a grandmother who is moving slow, a dad carrying a gazillion packages....you see what I mean???
Congratulations to you. StylePantry goes hard. Now on to you oh fashionable one. I think I lost that top during a quick trip to your city. The color, design and float fabric screams beauty. How xomfortBle are those wedges. I wear mine at least once a week.
