Don't dress alike with your best friend when you go out. Do you really think people believe that you BOTH left the house wearing jeans, red wide belts, tanks and yellow clutch purses without knowing what the other is wearing? Ever see the movie Single White Female?

Don't buy cheap shoes that you will wear often. There is a difference in shoes that are inexpensive and shoes that look like you bought them from hustleman on the corner. Odds are they won't last long.
Even nice looking feet can't make these furry heels look good!
Do invest in a couple pair of shoes that will last for at least three seasons. Not too trendy and appropriate for work. (No stripper shoes, unless in fact, you are a stripper.)
