In The Fashionista's Closet: All that Jazz

I found this fun Aztec-y skirt while thrfiting and it's a little big but I wore it anyway. I should have worn a more substantial belt to cinch it but of course I didn't think of it until after I saw my photos.

Belt: Forever 21
Skirt: Thrifted

I attended Jazz Under the Stars at the Dallas Museum of Art last night and it was such a great time! This is exactly the types of events that I like to participate in with grown ups who know more than the latest rap song on the radio. Last night's featured group was Havana NRG and I really wished I knew how to salsa while listening to them and seat dancing.

You can bring food and drinks and TABs (Tasty Adult Beverages) and enjoy the music. One way to know that I have had a couple of cocktails: my eyes get glassy and really really small.

Exhibit A:
I laughed after seeing these pics and decided to share them anyway even though I didn't think they were "blogworthy".
Jacket: Thrifted
Dress: Marshalls

If you get the opportunity, go out to Jazz Under the Stars and don't forget the TABs!

Happy Friday!

Love that green stripe dress with the flower, nice touch. We have something like that too, Jazzin at the Shedd Aquarium. It's so nice with beautiful well dressed and behaved grown folks.

Ohh green and stripes. I'm looking for something green as soon as I get a chance to go thrifting. I really love love the skirt. Ohh does it have pockets? I attened a jazz concert Mother's Day and it was fantabulous. When I'm in Dallas I'll join you for some soulful sounds. Xo.

I love how you’re not afraid of color. The yellow t-shirt and printed skirt is a perfect pair!
