#PeopleBe

I was minding my own business watching The Cleveland Show and Rallo said "People be tall." And iDied.
That was SO hilarious to me! 1. because I use that hashtag a lot #PeopleBe and 2. Because I dig Rallo. So I thought I would tell yall some other stuff that People Be.

1. #PeopleBeTripping.
I won't say that this school year is hard but let's just say that my faith is being tested (in so many ways.) But when people be tripping bout my dress code that is like playing with my emotions! This is why I could never be in the armed forces. First, because I ain't about that life (I know my limitations) and also because I don't want to conform to a uniform. I used to work at Arby's in college and I would always find a way to try not to wear my complete uniform. I would wear my black pants instead of the khakis (because the colors went together better, duh), roll up my pant legs or not wear my hat. I believe that conformity stifles creativity and just because I don't wear capris and a sweater with an apple (and a worm coming out of it) on it does not make me a less effective teacher.

2. #PeopleBeFunny. And when I say people, I mean me.
My students told me that I should be a comedian and I gave them all an A for the day. I kid, I kid. But yall know I fancy myself as a funny chick. Not the Katt Williams "I'm on drugs and I smack people and escape on scooters" type of comedian but the Chris Rock current events, political commentary type of comedy. I am glad that my students get me. Even though I told them that I was voted Most Wittiest in my high school and they didn't know what witty was. So I made them look it up.

3. #PeopleBeLiking.
Someone mentioned this on Facebook and I had to agree: "When people post "Big Mama is dead RIP" as their status and you like it are you saying you like the fact Big Mama is now dead or you are grieving with them? I just need some clarity, because someone put "Granny is dead and I miss her" and I liked it." You can also file this under "#PeopleBeFunny.

4. #PeopleBeRachet.
Yes I am once again talking about me. I swear I only like rachet songs that dudes like. Or girls who work the poles. But most guys in my age group are listening to The Oasis, not bumping "Ball" by T.I. I heard a song by A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Drake and Kendrick Lamar and went crazy! I LOVE that song! I looked for it immediately and promptly downloaded it. *Hangs head.* It's SO rachet yall. For reals. You can Google it, I don't e'em want to tell you the title.

Ok, now your turn, what else do #PeopleBe?

Ok, so I have a lot of things to say.
1. #PeopleBe actin up! If one more person at my job tell me I'm not matching, I'm going to pop off on errbody in here!!

2. That Katt Williams clip was the funniest thing I've seen all month!! LOL!! Ahahahahaha!!! #icant

3. The most ratchet song I've heard in a while is my Trinidad James called "All Gold". I'm ashamed to admit that it's growing on me, but when it comes on, I just have to move. *bows head in shame*

4. Looking up things in the dictionary is a lost art for children. My son is 7 years old & in the 2nd grade. I just started making him look up his spelling words every week. That boy looked at me like I was talking Chinese when I first showed him how to do it. Please save our children.

You crack me up! I teach as well, so I can relate to several of your stories from within. I haven't had anyone speak against the way I dress, but I definitely see them watching me as if they are entertained by my sense of fashion. *shrugs*

I tell my students (high school) that "they be tryin' it" (Tamar Braxton style. Lol

We need to pray for Katt. Clearly he has last control...SMH.
