Living for the Weekend

My weekends as of late have been the awesomest and I am here for them..

If I wore a tee shirt to describe my life at this point, it would be this one:

Well I guess I should preface this by saying we're not doing hoodrat stuff we are just in the vicinity of hoodrat activities. One of my co-workers had an event this weekend and parts of it was hood-like and oh so fun! Like being in a club with a guy with braids and beads on the ends like O-Dog from Menace to Society. (I'll post a pic to my Fashion Nette-work Facebook page, I hope that it's not one of yall's cousins.) Or people pop locking to "Planet Rock" like they were in the movie "Breaking" or a serious 1986 dance contest. (I have a photo of that too!) I also forgot that guys try and grab your hand in the club but I was reminded of that as well. And I danced so hard that if I still had a relaxer in my hair I would have sweated it out. #JammingOnTheOne

I also bought a hot link sandwich for three bucks in the club parking lot from a guy who had a whole barbecue grill attached to the back of his truck. (I didn't eat my sandwich because once I got it home it smelled like sweat so that was kind of a groove killer for me.)

But the absolute loveliness of my weekend was that I had bacon with chocolate drizzled over it at brunch. Yeah, that happened. And it was good. And I realized that some great things happen when you least expect them...and that I know some pretty cool people.
