Patrick Robinson has been tapped as the newest designer for Target's limited edition Go clothing line. Robinson, who began his career creating surfer clothes for his cohorts in Southern California then took his talents to NYC. Graduating from the Parsons School of Design, Robinson then worked for some of the best known fashion houses including Perry Ellis and Giorgio Armani. Currently working for the French fashion label Paco Rabanne, Robinson is known for bringing a modern feel to classic silhouettes.
I first saw a jacket from his collection in my newest issue of InStyle and made up my mind to go take a look at my local Tarjhay. I traipsed to Target the next day and found the jacket that I saw in the magazine but it was only in an extra small. "Must...find...jacket.." I mumbled, heading to yet another Target the next day where I only found another extra small and an extra large jacket. Not to be outdone, I marched myself into yet another Target and lo and behold there was a whole rack full of jackets, MY jacket:

So adorable! I think he's got it right with this one. The other Go Designers created looks that were a bit too old, or too outrageous and colorful. Patrick nailed it!
I'm not impressed with what I see here. Maybe I'll have to see the line in stores. I have heard a lot about him lately.
I got the brown swimsuit last week... it is too cute!
