In The Fashionista's Closet: Biscuits

I mean that literally and figuratively. I almost didn't post these pics because I felt very "bootylicious" in this outfit and not in a good way. Too many biscuits and no workouts....

I also call flaky people "biscuits" who never show up to events or are always constantly changing their minds about things.

I have a friend who will call me and suggest that we get together and it NEVER fails, we always have to adjust the date, time or location because she forgot she had to bake a cake, attend a baby shower, or has to get a colonic. Seriously. No, really. Seriously......

It.burns.me.up.

I've tried to accept her as she is but I feel as though she has no respect for my time and just won't commit to what she says.

So now when I meet other Pillsbury People I have to tell them that I already have one flaky friend, I can't afford two....

Shirt: Thrifted
Sweater: Zara
Clutch: DSW
Skirt: Target
Boots: Nine West

Do you know any "Biscuits"? How do you deal with them?

LOL @ Biscuits and Pillsbury People. I know a few biscuits and I've learned to let them go because it was obvious that I an my time was not valued. Kept on moving.

Diva...you look absolutely fabulous, you better celebrate them curves and WORK!

JB some of us have IT and some don't. You know I shyed away from posting bootylicious shots, but now I hear so many people wanting a bootay until I accept it, lol. The outfit is fab. I can recreate that! I love the look. Gimmie those boots. Now on to the biscuits! I have cut off two people already this year for being flaky. My 40th mantra was NO more drama! I mean that! If we make plans and you continue to "flake out" that's a no go with me! I get to the point where I don't get dressed or do something else. The bff and I had a friend who flaked out on us for two years so this year when she said she was going to attend an event with us with just knew she wasn't coming and were happy with that.....then she came. It changed the entire vibe.

I don't deal with biscuits. I just stop buttering them and they get the point.

First, let me say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog. You inspired me to start my own. Thank you for the photos and for being fabulous :)

Second, (now that I've complimented you) I'll admit to being a biscuit. I have finally realized that I'm a flaky biscuit and am trying to turn my bad habits around. :( I realize it messes other people up and it disrespects people. Trying to change!

Keep up the great work and Happy Holidays!

lol, flaky friends are the worse, I tend to drop them as I get older since my time is equally precious. Love your jumper and bag.
