Maxi-mum length!

The 1970's fashion scene saw more than the mini skirt, it also brought the maxi, or ankle length silhouette to the forefront. These breezy floor length dresses are comfortable while still maintaining your chic-ness. I am drawn to ankle grazing dresses that I can wear with flip flops for a casual feel or dress up with a pair of strappy sandals for a nighttime vibe. I love a boho feel, adding a pair of hoop earrings, sparkly thong sandals and a funky bag to complete the look.

Nice...good alternatives for teachers who want to wear dresses every once in a while but don't want to look too polished or have to put all the effort into wearing pantyhose and such...some of those dresses (the more casual ones) can also be layered with a cropped denim jacket!

Old Navy has the best Maxi dress right now, long and flowy, simple solid colors! I love the black one I just bought and I'm going to wear it all summer I swear! Sandals, wedges, chunky jewelry, etc. I wanna go back and get the green one too. I know you spoke on mass retailer dress below but this one is so simple you can dress it up and down and change it all around.(and it's not in the commercial)
