I Ain't Here For That (2013 Edition #1)

 Hey yall! *waves* I have been missing due to a bad cold, a root canal and a busy schedule but I'm baaaaacccckkkkkk.........with some stuff that I ain't here for...

1. I am not here for people that feel the need to tell all about Scandal on Facebook. I love Scandal. I think I've mentioned it a time or two. But I might not always get to watch it when it comes on Thursdays at nine cuz I'm busy (i.e. asleep, lol.) So imagine my level of pisstivity (is that a word?) when I go on Facebook and find out that people are posting about the episode before I've had a chance to watch it! WHO DOES THAT? (Yes I'm yelling because who does that???) Facebook is not your friend, call your real life friends and talk to them about it, don't ruin it for everyone! So my warning this week on Facebook was this: "Warning: If anyone discloses what happens on Scandal on Facebook tonight I'm going to unfriend you. I'm going to take that to mean that you can't keep business to yourself, including mine so I don't want to be your friend anyway...#pow." I am serious about my Scandal. And guess what? No one posted anything! #CyberBully

I am not here for overly sensitive people. I had an incident this week where a co-worker came over to a group of people that I was in and tried to admonish us because she mistakenly believed that we were making fun of and laughing at her. Right. You read that right. Grown folks. My first thought was surely you can't be serious? But once I realized that she was, in fact, serious, I had to let her know that if I don't care for you, you would know it because I wouldn't even acknowledge your existence. I.would.have.no.words.for.you. I usually get along with everyone so if there's a problem I wouldn't have any problem letting you know what my issue is with you. And I told her that. But I wanted to ask her who has she been hanging around that people are laughing and making fun of her. What are we, 12? It was beyond absurd. The irony is that I don't didn't have an issue with her..

I AM here for things that make me laugh! Things that have tickled my fancy this week:

 1. Real Housewives of Atlanta. Oh, that Kenya. Giiiiiiiirrrrrrllllll you are doing the absolute, ultimate, epitome of The Most. If you look up "The Most" we will see you smiling in your Miss Universe crown and gown and blowing air kisses. With Walter looking like 1986. Just the whole year of 1986.

2. My students. Every week my students have vocabulary words and they have to define them for homework. One of my student's definition for usual was this: The drink someone habitually orders or prefers. Noun. WHHHHHHHHHAAAAATTTTTT! As in "I'll take the usual." Lawd help us. But he wasn't wrong.....

3. People in my life. I love a good belly laugh and nothing makes me happier than having a conversation or receiving a text that makes you laugh until you're out of breath or until tears roll down your face from merriment. So I thank all my friends that have made me laugh when I felt like crying (or was crying in some cases), it makes it all better. Thank you!
