In The Fashionista's Closet: Deep Ellum Style

I attended the Deep Ellum Arts Festival on Sunday and had a great time and even though it was windy I was sweating like crazy.

Someone left a comment that I am always going somewhere and I literally laughed out loud because it has been only recently that I've been venturing out to do things, I've been a hermit for about a year. I've decided that I need to git up get out and get something, don't let the days of my life pass by. (Lyrics by Outkast in case you didn't know!)

The Longhornisaurus

My fave sunglasses from Bluebird Vintage in Austin

I loved her hair, it was even more fab in person. She uses Kinky Curly Knot Today as a Leave In and Jane Carter Solution for definition but I forgot the Jane Carter product name.

I have had this dress for about 3 years and this is my first time wearing it. I thought it was kinda shapeless so I added a belt. I ordered it from Ebay and apparently it is a knockoff of a Diane von Furstenberg dress but I didn't know that at the time, I just loved the dress. I ran across Life in Travel's blog and saw that she was wearing the same dress but in a different color but she has the DVF version. See hers HERE.

Dress: Ebay (yeah, it has pockets!)
Belt: Thrifted
Bracelets: Assorted
Bag: Vintage
Shoes: Target
